Zoological Garden Zlín, also known as Zoo Lešná, is a zoological garden located about 10 km from the center of Zlín. The first zoo in Zlín was founded by Tomáš Baťa on May 1, 1930. It was initially in the park near the Zlín castle and in 1934 it was moved to the top of Tlustá hora, where it remained until the middle of World War II.
Zlín zoo has long been among the ten most visited tourist attractions in the Czech Republic.
